Well for this class I decided to go with a semi-valentines theme.
I’m not into the mushy side of Valentines Day but it is a lovely suite, the colours are pushing me out of my comfort zone a bit, I prefer more muted colours schemes but it’s good to jump out of the box every so often.
Here in the UK we really see Valentines Day as a day to celebrate love between couples, I wish we could adopt the American stance (just this once) and see it as a day to celebrate love between friends, siblings, our children etc etc, ‘to think outside the box’ and maybe present a little token to someone who has just made a difference in our lives and been a good friend or support.
This suite has a beautiful stamp set, coordinating dies, papers, sticker transfers, gold and blushing bride tinsel ribbon and chunky gold glitter – it is jam packed and bursting with must have products to add to your crafty collection.
The dies on their own are stunning, in the set there is a die that makes up a gorgeous little box.
The little touches of gold foil on the designer paper page designs is stunning, it gives the papers a luxurious feel. It catches the light and is stunning.
The tinsel ribbon adds a little extra and sparkle to any project.
The suite is made up with a mixture of bold and subtle colours, Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry, Calyso Coral and Powder Pink. The subtle colours balance out the bold colours.
As you can see from the pictures the suite looks so different when using the bold colours together then using the subtle colours. The gold is just stunning, teamed up with gold twine or gold tinsel ribbon it just completes and project. So pretty!
This is the first time that I’ve made a Valentines Card in a long time and I know which two friends I will be giving mine to.
This suite is now on the retiring list so be sure to add it to your shopping list before it’s no longer available! To see what is on the clearance rack, please click here.
