What a stunning suite, this one is definitely going to be very popular. Stampin’ Up! have really got some beautiful suites in the Autumn/Winter catalogue. Painted Harvest hosts a wide range of product in it including a 2-step stamp set and coordinating punch bundle, beautiful designer series papers and coordinating card stock, burlap ribbon and little wooden flowers and leaves that add beautiful depth and texture to any project.
You only need to take a quick glance at the Stampin’ Up! catalogue and all the beautiful projects and samples literally leap out of the pages, these projects were cased from the catalogue, they are so beautiful I couldn’t resist. Although ultimately it is a catalogue, it doubles up as an idea book and season after season the samples and projects don’t disappoint.
I ran a few classes with this suite. We made a bag using the Painted Harvest papers and the Gift Bag Punch Board, we stamped the sunflower image onto tissue paper and melted it into a candle. We then made a little 3×3″ card using the thick bakers twine. Each project used the sentiments from the suite also.
It’s hard to believe that this little fella is made from a sunflower image! It’s amazing what you can do by changing the colour of ink and adding a little face (from Foxy Friends). This was the topper on the Mini Pizza Boxes, inside there was a selection of 3×3″ cards and envelopes. A very cute little project.
Eclipse cards are huge at the moment, so I had to have a go myself. I’m undecided on the colour combination of this card, I used Rich Razzelberry as the darker colour. I do however think the combination of Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze and a little touch if Cherry Cobbler is very hard to look over as a colour combination for the sunflower image.
Again in this last image, who knew by changing the colour to green you could make it look like a Christmas wreath, this lovely card was made by Gina Connor of Emerald Kreations. I love how clean, crisp and simple it is. One I definitely will be casing myself.
