It’s always a little daunting when someone asks you to come up with ‘something different’ from the usual run of the mill cards you can purchase in shops.
I think pop-up box cards or a card-in-a-box worked a treat. Each one I see and make always have the ‘wow’ factor, they can be tailored to each recipient making them very unique and it’s guaranteed that they won’t have received one before!
This one was made for a girl to celebrate her first year in business, she was absolutely delighted with it. The colour scheme I used was Mint Macaron, Sweet Sugar Plum and Tip Top Taupe, gorgeous colours combined together, then to add a little sparkle gorgeous Glimmer paper because everyone needs a little sparkle in their lives.
I used the Large Number Framelits to cut out the ‘1’ together with ‘st’ from the coordinating Number of Years Stamp set.
The stars were cut out from a layering set of star dies that are now retired.
The card/ box itself is really easily made up, I used a tutorial from Sandi MacIver, her cards are lovely and her video tutorials are so easy to follow.
Hope you like my card…
